Save Time: Auto-Launch Your Favourite Windows 11 Apps

Windows 11 makes it easy to set your favourite apps to launch automatically when you log in. This small change can save you time and help you get straight to work.

How to Set Up Auto-Launch

For apps that support auto-launch, here’s what to do:

1. Open Settings.
2. Click Apps.
3. Select Startup.
4. You’ll see a list of apps that support auto-launch. Simply toggle the switch for the ones you want to open automatically.

If an app doesn’t appear in the Startup section, don’t worry. You can still set it up manually via the Startup folder:

1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run tool.
2. Type shell:startup and click OK.
3. Add a shortcut to the app’s executable file (usually an .exe file found in Program Files).
