If you’ve ever attempted to adjust a setting in Microsoft Edge only to feel overwhelmed by the multitude of options available, this update is designed for you.
Microsoft is revamping the Settings page to simplify navigation, eliminating the need to sift through endless menus to locate the settings you require.
A new quick access panel will be introduced under the main Settings menu, providing shortcuts to the features you are most likely to use.
Additionally, settings will be organised into smaller submenus such as “System and Performance” and “Appearance,” making it much easier to find what you need. Each submenu will also feature its own quick access shortcuts.
These enhancements aim to challenge Google Chrome, which has been lauded for its well-structured settings. If your team hasn’t yet adopted Edge as their default browser, now is an excellent time to reconsider.
Microsoft is currently testing these updates, with a rollout expected soon. Once implemented, users can look forward to a smoother navigation experience.
